CR Designs was integral to the transformative site design and entry experience for the Viewpoint Hotel in York, Maine. This project aimed to create a welcoming, memorable and seamless arrival for guest, enhancing the overall guest experience from the moment they arrive.

The new design features a state-of-the-art check-in and entry lobby that combines modern aesthetics with coastal charm. Large windows invite natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere, while carefully selected materials evoke the beauty of the surrounding environment. The lobby serves as a central hub, guiding guests seamlessly to their destinations within the hotel.

An outdoor restaurant extends the hospitality experience, offering al fresco dining with stunning views of the coastline. The design includes stylish seating arrangements and lush landscaping that integrates the restaurant with its natural surroundings, inviting guests to enjoy fresh air and scenic vistas.

The site design also incorporates a luxurious spa, creating a serene retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. Thoughtful landscaping and water features enhance the tranquil atmosphere, encouraging guests to unwind and escape the everyday.

The entry sequence was meticulously planned to provide a smooth transition between the guest arrival and hotel program, emphasizing a fully connected site plan, accessibility and guest comfort. Walkways, lighting, and signage guide visitors through the space, fostering a sense of arrival and anticipation.
